Snooker

The North End Snooker club is a successful and ambitious team of players of varying standards. It consists of a group of friends that have played in the league for a while now.

We won Division 8 the first year that we played together and then asked to play in any league as long as it was a Thursday evening. We have played in Division 1 to make the numbers up and we now enjoy playing in Division 3.

We play in the both the Winter season and the Summer season but we don't play in the Billiards.

We have been playing for a long time now and although we have occasionally won the odd division, we like to feel that the comment in the snooker result section of the football mail sums our team up. "They win more friends than frames"
